$125M to Speed Up the Expansion of Enerkem Around the World

Enerkem and Sinobioway Group have announced the signature of a $125M agreement to create a joint venture to build more than 100 biofuel plants in China.

Enerkem has now positioned itself as a world leader in the production of waste-to-biofuels and renewable chemicals. The company was founded in 2000 by two Université de Sherbrooke students, and a pilot plant was opened in 2003.
