Enerkem Makes the Cleantech Group’s Top 100 Once Again

4-2014-Global-Cleantech-100-e-Badge_Top100For a fourth year, the Sherbrooke company Enerkem has made the Global Cleantech 100 list. This influential ranking established by the Cleantech Group lists private businesses in the field of clean technology that are likely to influence the market in a significant way in the next five to ten years.

Enerkem, which produces biofuels and renewable chemicals from residual materials, stood out among 5995 companies from 60 countries. An international jury made up of 84 experts assessed the candidates on the basis of proprietary research and qualitative analysis.

In the 2014 edition, the 100 companies listed come from 17 countries around the world.
