De La Fontaine and Emplois Compétences – 2015 Finalists for the Mercuriades

MercuriadesTwo Sherbrooke companies, De La Fontaine and Emplois Compétences, were nominated in the 35th edition of the business competition Les Mercuriades.

De La Fontaine, a steel door and frame manufacturer, was nominated finalist for the Productivity Improvement category for small and medium-sized businesses. The company has one production facility on Brodeur Street in Sherbrooke, as well as a production centre in Woburn, Massachusetts.

Specializing in staff recruitment, Emplois Compétences is being considered for the Community Involvement category. This consulting firm has two branches, one in Sherbrooke and one in Granby.

Organized by the Fédération des chambres de commerce du Québec (FCCQ – Québec Federation of Chambers of Commerce), the Mercuriades competition rewards the vision, audacity, and expertise of Québec companies.

The 2015 winners will be crowned during a gala evening taking place on April 16, 2015, at the Palais des congrès de Montréal.
