Sherbrooke Innopole is proud to announce the appointment of Marie-France Bélanger, Director General of the Cégep de Sherbrooke, as a member on its board of directors.

Marie-France Bélanger has been working at the Cégep de Sherbrooke for more than 30 years. She has held various positions – teacher, researcher, professional, manager – before becoming the director general of the educational institution in 2009.

Ms. Bélanger has been involved in many activities in regional and provincial jurisdictions, including, in recent years, as President of the Conseil régional des partenaires du marché du travail and President of the Board of Directors of the Fédération des cégeps.

Holder of degrees at the Bachelor’s and Master’s levels in Mathematics from Université de Sherbrooke, Ms. Bélanger has also completed doctoral studies in education sciences. This includes several papers and publications related to the education and mathematics sectors.

Ms. Bélanger was appointed to replace Michel Provence, General Manager of the Charles River Laboratories site in Sherbrooke.
