Three Sherbrooke Businesses Among Canada’s Best Managed Companies
Three Sherbrooke manufacturing businesses have been recognized by Deloitte’s prestigious ranking of Canada’s Best Managed Companies: Artopex, M.I. Integration, and Soucy Techno.
For the very first time, M.I. Integration joined the select club of the 50 new Best Managed Companies, following a rigorous evaluation process. Founded in 1989, this company, which includes Moules Industriels, Plastech, and SLP M.I. Integración, has experienced an overall growth rate of 25% over the past two years. It specializes in manufacturing moulds and the injection of parts for the automobile industry. Its four facilities employ 260 people in Sherbrooke, Ham-Nord, and Mexico.
Artopex continues to excel among Canada’s Best Managed Companies, with a ninth consecutive nomination. This office furniture manufacturer is a Platinum Club member for the third year in a row. Its TEC Innovation facility, located at the corner of Portland and Industriel boulevards, manufactures office chairs.
For its fourth year as a winner, Soucy Techno achieved Gold Standard recognition. The business, which has one facility in Sherbrooke, develops and prepares rubber compounds used in the automobile, recreational vehicle, and construction industries, as well as the medical field.
Canada’s Best Managed Companies competition
The Best Managed ranking rewards the best companies owned and managed by Canadians that have sales figures exceeding $10 million. They are assessed based on their overall performance, innovative management, and sustainable growth.
There are five distinction levels:
Best Managed – New winners
Requalified – Winners that have retained their designation for two additional years
Gold Standard – Winners that have retained their designation for a fourth consecutive year
Gold Standard requalified – Winners that have applied and successfully retained their designation for two additional years
Platinum Club – Winners that have maintained their Best Managed status for seven years or more
