Sherbrooke company Logiflex has embarked on a joint venture with Artopex. This new group has thus become the third largest office furniture manufacturer in Canada.

With this move, the Artopex-Logiflex group has boosted its clout in markets outside of Québec—in English Canada and the United States—until now dominated by American giants.

Logiflex President Yan Sinclair noted that “The team at Logiflex will remain in place and will continue to pursue its primary mission of providing its distribution network with a quality product at a competitive price.”

The two entities will remain in Québec but will present a united front in the rest of Canada and the United States, stated Daniel Pelletier, President and CEO of Artopex, whose head office is located in Granby.

With 57 years of combined experience, the Artopex-Logiflex group now has more than 650 employees, 5 factories—including TEC Innovation in Sherbrooke—and showrooms in Montreal, Toronto, Calgary, and New York.

Created in 1993, Logiflex employs 225 people at its ultra-modern facility on Saint-Roch Road North
