IngeniArts Finalist in the 2014 Forces Avenir Gala

IngeniArts The young company IngeniArts—a product of the Université de Sherbrooke (UdeS)—is a finalist in the 2014 Forces Avenir Gala in the Business and Economy category.

Founded by Rami Jarjour and Philippe Beauchamp, two Masters students in Electrical Engineering at the Université de Sherbrooke, IngeniArts develops and commercializes a smart battery for the electric and hybrid transportation sector. This Université de Sherbrooke spin-off made its recent showing at the third edition of Cleantech Rendez-vous organized by Sherbrooke Innopole.

Three other projects and one student from UdeS are also competing in the 2014 edition of this interuniversity contest, including the Université de Sherbrooke Electric Transportation Association. Each finalist will be granted a $2000 bursary.

The winners will be named on September 17, 2014, at the Capitole de Québec.
