Immune Biosolutions: Winner of the Second Edition of Devtech BIO!

The Sherbrooke company Immune Biosolutions is one of five winners in the 2nd edition of the Devtech BIO competition.

Created by Frédéric Leduc, Simon Gaudreau, and Jean-François Larrivée, Immune Biosolutions specializes in manufacturing antibodies from eggs for biomedical research.

As a result of this award, the Sherbrooke firm will take part in the prestigious BIO International Convention, held from April 22 to 25, 2013 in Chicago. Once there, Immune Biosolutions promoters will take part in the Biotechnology Entrepreneurship Boot Camp.

The prize, valued at $3000, also includes participation in activities organized in conjunction with the conference and a travel allowance.

This is a new award for Immune Biosolutions Inc., which has just been honoured with a prize in the 2013 Québec Entrepreneurship Competition, alongside five other Sherbrooke businesses.

The other 2013 Devtech BIO winners are:

  • InflammatoRX: Treatments for autoimmune diseases
  • Biovelia: Controlled-release technologies for the pharmaceutical and nutraceutical sectors
  • GenePOC: Fast point-of-care microbial testing system
  • Khlôros: Chewable delivery system for optimal delivery of active ingredients and medications

Devtech_Édition_BIODevtech BIO is an entrepreneurial competition intended to stimulate and support start-up companies in the life-sciences sector in Quebec.
