Four Sherbrooke Winners at the 2015 ADRIQ Innovation Awards

Sherbrooke shone at the Innovation Awards Gala hosted by ADRIQ (Association pour le développement de la recherche et de l’innovation du Québec – an organization working towards the development of research and innovation in Québec): MI-Intégration, the Université de Sherbrooke, as well as Vincent and Esteban Chornet from Enerkem were award winners.

MI-Intégration, specialized in mould design and manufacturing and in the injection of parts mainly for the automotive industry, won the award in the manufacturing category. The business entity is comprised of the companies Moules Industriels (Sherbrooke), Plastech (Sherbrooke), and SLP M.I. Integración (Mexico).

MI-Intégration has developed a technology that is unique on the market: a robotic head applies a product to sealing parts to facilitate sliding. This process results in consistency, steadiness, time gain, and cost reduction.
