Artopex and Soucy Techno Again Among Canada’s 50 Best Managed Companies
Two Sherbrooke companies, Artopex and Soucy Techno, are once more included among Canada’s 50 Best Managed Companies for 2013, according to Deloitte.
Artopex wins the Best Managed Companies designation for a seventh consecutive year since 2007. The Sherbrooke-based company is the first office furniture manufacturer to become a Platinum Club member.
“Being named a member of the Platinum Club is an honour that shows our determination, passion, and dedication toward our mission and objectives. We are committed to the belief that it’s still possible to build furniture in Québec and maintain jobs here,” said Daniel Pelletier, President and Chief Executive Officer at Artopex.
Artopex is Québec’s largest office furniture manufacturer that offers a full range of office supplies under one roof. The company owns four plants, and has more than 400 employees in Québec.
For a second consecutive year, Soucy Techno has been named Best Managed Company.
The company, located on Chemin Saint-Roch, specializes in the preparation of rubber compounds for the automobile, recreational vehicle, medical, and construction industries, among others.
