CDE Solutions Informatiques at Mobility for business in Paris // SHERBROOKE INTERNATIONAL
Auteur : Sherbrooke Innopole
As part of the Sherbrooke International program, selected Sherbrooke businesses have received direct support for their development outside Québec. Sherbrooke International is proud to encourage and support Sherbrooke businesses to shine internationally. After each of these significant projects, participants are invited to share their experiences through a blog post.
In early October 2019, Daniel Lacombe, President of CDE Solutions Informatiques, participated in the Mobility for Business trade show held at the Porte de Versailles in Paris to explore the new horizons of the world of mobility.
Established in Sherbrooke since 1994, CDE Solutions Informatiques offers innovative and customized technology solutions at the service of organizations. Our team of professionals has made a name for itself through its ability to understand business processes, propose integrated solutions, and implement them. Our dedicated team also develops customized training activities.
Discovering new markets
Thanks to the support of Sherbrooke Innopole, CDE Solutions Informatiques has been able to discover the European market and get a taste of the new trends in mobility. The aim was not only to discover these new approaches, but to also study their potential impact on the Quebec market. The question at stake is to determine whether a mobile solution can be flexible, i.e. if it can be adapted and controlled in a market different from that for which it was originally designed.
The trade show was highly enlightening for the evolution of CDE Solutions Informatiques. Through demonstration workshops, knowledge transfers broadened new horizons for the company to explore.
Leveraging our business relationships
The Sherbrooke International program enabled the creation of new business relationships in Europe. Daniel Lacombe was able to discuss with new companies, but also meet face-to-face with some partners, including Divalto (Weavy), an IT company with whom we have been working for a few years. Sherbrooke Innopole’s strong support has therefore contributed to the development of business relations, both internal and external.
In short, the new ideas that were discussed during the European stay will enable the company to carry on its mission of helping customers in adopting innovative and adapted IT solutions. These ideas include tablet computers that can withstand Quebec’s weather through an adapted solution that allows users to use touchscreen functions without taking off their gloves. This feature will certainly be much appreciated by users of our management software for the logging industry (SGB4N).
