Two Sherbrooke Companies on a Mission in the American Midwest

Seven companies that are members of the Elastomer Valley and Vallée de la plasturgie ACCORD clusters, among them Soucy Techno and Numetrix Technologies from Sherbrooke, are currently on a trade mission in the American Midwest.

The mission, led by CQI, is taking place from May 31 to June 5, 2015 and essentially involves business meetings. The companies participating will thus have an opportunity to initiate discussions with potential clients, all qualified.

Midwest-americain_carte1-300x161“Aside from the traditional manufacturing sector, the high-tech sector has evolved a great deal and offers companies interesting opportunities. With measures to increase local investments, the American Midwest [12 states1] is an environment conducive to business ventures,” noted Roxana Giraldez, International Commissioner at CQI and head of the mission.

The mission has been organized by CQI and the ACCORD clusters, in partnership with Canada Economic Development, the Ministère de l’Économie, de l’Innovation et des Exportations, as well as the Québec Government Office in Chicago.
