Soprema Honoured at the 2017 Mercuriades

SOPREMAThe company Soprema, which announced in November 2016 the construction of a new plant in Sherbrooke, has won the prestigious award Grande entreprise – contribution au développement économique et régional (large business – contribution to economic and local development).

This prize is awarded to a company that has made a significant contribution to the economic development of its region and has won an award for excellence at its local Chamber of Commerce gala within the past two years.

The award was presented to Richard Voyer, General Manager at Soprema, during the 2017 Mercuriades ceremony in Montréal, this April 24th.

Organized by the Fédération des chambres de commerce du Québec (FCCQ – Québec Federation of Chambers of Commerce), the Mercuriades competition rewards the vision, boldness, and expertise of Québec businesses.
