SMi-Enerpro, a division of The SM Group Inc., and TPG Special Situations Partners (TSSP) have launched a joint venture to make SMi-Enerpro’s Technology Suite available globally.

Targeting the real estate sector, the exclusive energy management system developed by SMi-Enerpro generates energy and cost savings of 40% in greenhouse gas emissions.

The new venture, to which TSSP is contributing capital and operational expertise, seeks to reach a broader market, including commercial real estate, cruise ships, and data centres.

The SM Group has two offices in Sherbrooke.
