SGT 2000 is Expanding via a New Site in Sherbrooke

SGT 2000

The transport company SGT 2000 is currently moving its Sherbrooke terminal in the Rock Forest sector to a site a little farther away at 9011 Bourque Boulevard, along Highway 10/55 in the Deauville sector.

The company is investing $2.5M in this expansion project to acquire land, build facilities, and buy equipment. The Sherbrooke terminal will thus become one of the largest of the more than 20 terminals owned by SGT 2000 throughout Canada and the United States.

The new location of the terminal will provide easier and safer access to the highway network. In addition, SGT 2000 will now be able to transit goods to and from there using road trains—convoys with two semi-trailers.

The company was able to rely on location assistance from Sherbrooke Innopole for this project.

SGT 2000 employs some 20 workers in Sherbrooke and is currently looking for drivers and owner-operators.
