A Personal Watercraft Designed at the CTA Wins an Award of Excellence
The project Une motomarine adaptée pour sauver des vies, a joint venture of the town of Chambly and the Centre de technologies avancées BRP – Université de Sherbrooke (CTA), has won Canada’s National Search and Rescue (SAR) Program’s Award of Excellence for Innovation.
The innovative vehicle was designed for swiftwater rescue.
This Award, which is the most prestigious in the field of search and rescue, recognizes more than two years of work entirely carried out at the CTA thanks to the cooperation of BRP and the employees of Chambly’s Fire Department.
Awards of Excellence are presented by the Government of Canada’s National Search and Rescue Secretariat.
