You’re a businesswoman who go ahead and innovate? The Sara Kirke Award for Entrepreneurship and Innovation could be awarded to you. Participate!

Awarded by the Canadian Women in Technology network (CanWIT), the Sara Kirke Award crowns the businesswoman who has shown the most outstanding technological innovation and corporate leadership. The winner will become a positive role model for Canadian businesswomen.

Arrived in Newfoundland in 1638, Sara Kirke is considered by many to be the North America’s first woman entrepreneur.

Submissions must be received by April 20, 2012.
