Laboratoire M2 Signs Distribution Agreement with Giant DeLaval

Thymox logoSherbrooke company Laboratoire M2’s environmentally friendly disinfectant Thymox® will now be distributed in Canada as a footbath for dairy herds by the multinational company DeLaval, as the result of an agreement.

With its bactericidal, fungicidal, and virucidal action, Thymox® effectively prevents and controls digital dermatitis, a common contagious infection that can affect milk production. The product developed by Laboratoire M2, made with active natural ingredients, is nontoxic and non-corrosive, while being fully biodegradable.

“We are delighted to work with an international leader such as DeLaval who has recognized Thymox® as a green, effective and low-cost solution to serious health and environmental concerns,” commented Laboratoire M2’s President and CEO, Serge Auray.

DeLaval is a Swedish supplier of solutions that improve the performance of dairy farms. Alongside Tetra Pak and Sidel, it is part of the Tetra Laval Group.

From farm to table

In addition to its recognized applications in the agricultural milieu, Thymox can be used in the agri-food, medical, dental, institutional, industrial, disaster recovery, and domestic sectors.
