Immune Biosolutions and Lumed Are Finalists in the 3rd Devtech 50 competition
Immune Biosolutions and Lumed, both Sherbrooke-based companies, are 2 of the 11 finalists in the 3rd Devtech 50 technology entrepreneurship competition.
Immune Biosolutions specializes in producing antibodies from chicken eggs for biomedical research. The company created by Frédéric Leduc, Simon Gaudreau, and Jean-François Larrivée was one of five winners of the BIO edition of the 2nd Devtech competition.
Founded by Vincent Nault, Mathieu Beaudoin, and Louis Valiquette, Lumed develops and markets software solutions to improve the productivity of health-care workers.
As Devtech 50 finalists, both Sherbrooke-based companies continue to stand out among Québec’s entrepreneurial companies. In June, Immune Biosolutions and Lumed made the final round of the Québec Entrepreneurship Contest.
The other 2013 Devtech finalists are:
- Artisans du passage
- Constructeur virtuel
- DatatoWeb
- Développement Sportif HiTrainer
- DrGym
- JULO LTÉE

- Todöm
- WeSeekYou
In the next few weeks, finalists will complete a training program and receive personalized guidance.
Three winners will be selected at the grand finale of the Devtech 50, which will be held on November 21, 2013 at the Espace 400e Bell in Québec.
Devtech 50 is an entrepreneurship competition intended to encourage and support Québec technology companies with less than $250,000 in income during the pre-marketing and marketing stages.
