The International Association of Science Parks (IASP) has honored the Director General of Sherbrooke Innopole, Pierre Bélanger, for his remarkable involvement in this organization.

Mr. Bélanger is leaving the Board of Directors of this worldwide network of nearly 150 000 high tech companies after being involved on the International Board of Directors as President of the North American Division for 14 years.

Pierre Bélanger contributed significantly to the evolution of the IASP, in line with the changes in the global economy and, particularly, regarding new models for stimulating innovation.

Pierre Bélanger was an IASP Board member for 16 years, including four on the Executive Board and two on the Advisory Council.

Sherbrooke has two science parks member of the IASP: theParc scientifique de Sherbrooke and the Parc Innovation of the Université de Sherbrooke.
