Sherbrooke ranked 2^nd in terms of the Most Entrepreneurial City in Canada per capita, and 3^rd in absolute numbers, in the City Battle organized by Futurpreneur Canada as part of Global Entrepreneurship Week.

Overall, 27 entrepreneurial events took place during the week referred to as Entreprendre Sherbrooke. More than 1500 participants took part in the networking activities, training sessions, press conferences, recognition activities, etc. organized by various organizations.

Ranking in the City Battle was based on the number of entrepreneurial events held from November 16 to 22, 2015. The Town of Whitby in Ontario ranked first per capita with 28 events, while Ottawa was the leader in absolute numbers with more than 83 activities.
