DE LA FONTAINE Acquires a Factory in the United States
The company DE LA FONTAINE, a Sherbrooke manufacturer known for making customized steel doors and frames, announced the acquisition of the LINDSTROM Corporation, another manufacturer located in the State of Maryland in the United States. It is a first and important acquisition for the company that owns one other plant in Massachusetts. This acquisition helps to concretize the company’s development plan, which is driven by a growth strategy.
Through its products, short delivery times, and negotiating skills, LINDSTROM Corporation sets itself apart.
The twenty-two current employees will keep their jobs, and others could soon join the customer service and engineering methods teams. A position is currently open for an operations supervisor specialized in processing sheet metal and with solid experience in the manufacturing sector.
