Cleantech Funding: $600 000 for the Université de Sherbrooke’s 3iT and CITÉ

Université de SherbrookeThe Government of Canada is granting $600 000 to two centres of the Université de Sherbrooke, i.e. The Institut interdisciplinaire d’innovation technologique (3IT), in Sherbrooke, and the Carrefour d’innovation en technologies écologiques (CITÉ), in Granby. These funds will enable the centres to increase their support to SMEs in various industrial sectors to develop and improve cleantech and contribute to sustainable development.

This non-repayable contribution, granted through the CED’s Quebec Economic Development Program, will make it possible to acquire sophisticated laboratories for SMEs to access, in addition to the expertise from researchers they will have the opportunity use to optimize technology transfers.
