Canada Among the Top Five Places in the World to Launch a Start-up

Canada is one of the top five countries in the world to launch a start-up according to a study conducted by Washington State University’s College of Business.

Canada stands out for its low cost of living and highly educated work force. The 1.2% inflation rate suggests that costs will likely remain low in the foreseeable future.

The ranking was established based on the following five criteria:

  • Funding
  • Educated work force
  • Low cost of living
  • Economic health
  • Low corporate taxes

The other countries in the top five are Hong Kong, the United States, Singapore, and Australia.
