After twenty years of local presence: BPR is growing its team to meet new challenges in the greater Estrie region

Sherbrooke, March 8, 2011- Established in Estrie for the past 20 years, BPR is acquiring a multidisciplinary engineering team, which will provide the full breadth of company expertise, from its Building, Energy, Water, Infrastructure and Industry units. This expanded workforce will allow its specialists to work with a highly diversified client group: health, education, water management, transportation, municipal infrastructure and renewable energy. New employees have already joined the team of engineers and technicians to respond to the needs of its area clients, as well as being involved in projects on the international stage.

A team dedicated to the regional market

With a larger team and a greater breadth of expertise in Sherbrooke, BPR provides the full range of engineering services to its area clientele. The many projects carried out in the region – such as redevelopment of the paediatric hemato-oncology unit of the CHUS, rebuilding of the main street in Sutton, redevelopment of Highway 112 at Ascot Corner and evaluation of the safety and then rehabilitation of twenty or so dams, — already bear witness to the very real influence of the regional talents of the company.

‘’Estrie embodies BPR’s values and our desire to offer our employees an exceptional quality of life at the same time as they are working on stimulating projects. We can depend on our Sherbrooke graduates, remarkable professionals whose training, education and real project experience are completely consistent with BPR today. What we want to do is continue to be involved locally, but also to use our talents on international projects,’’ says Pierre Lavallée, Chairman and CEO of BPR.

BPR’s enlarged team is already settled into its new offices located at 2100, King St. West, Suite 110.
