$51M for Quantum Physics and Electron Microscopy at Université de Sherbrooke

Université de SherbrookeThe Université de Sherbrooke has received over $51M to purchase state-of-the-art equipment and help its researchers carry out their work. The funds come from the governments of Quebec and Canada as well as from the Canada Foundation for Innovation (CFI) and various partners.

Funding will be granted mainly for a quantum physics project and an electron microscopy project.

Among other things, the grant will be used to provide the Institut Quantique with a pavilion of specialized laboratories where professors and students will meet for research purposes.
