2017: A Brilliant Year for ACET

ACETIn 2017, the Accélérateur de création d’entreprises technologiques (ACET – Accelerator for the Creation of Technological Businesses) invested $15.2M in the businesses it supports, a record amount in funding.

Seven new projects were approved – for a total of 66 projects and 260 jobs created since ACET was formed in 2011 –, revealed the 2017 retrospective.

Close to 80% of the 45 businesses currently receiving support from ACET are established in Estrie.

In 2017, ACET launched two new services:

  • ACET Commercialisation, to help businesses establish and structure their marketing activities by hiring business developers
  • iA7, a competitive market intelligence service through data collection and analysis
