COMMUNIQUÉ DE PRESSE – Groupe TERA, a major player in the analysis, measurement and real-time evaluation of air quality, today announces its establishment in Sherbrooke in the province of Quebec, the first step in its development in North America.

These projects are fully in line with the ambitions expressed at the time of the Company’s initial public offering in July 2019, aimed in developing in regions where air quality issues are economic and health priorities. »

Project to launch the North American subsidiary dedicated to the marketing of Groupe TERA air quality measurement offer 

For its future North American subsidiary, Groupe TERA primary objective is to develop the sale of OEM measurement sensors. To this end, the Group intends to demonstrate the technological performance of its measuring stations and citizen sensors, the two systems that carry the OEM sensors manufactured by the Company. The target customer base for OEM sensors includes many major players in various fields: air quality measurement, transportation as well as the industries of heating systems, ventilation, refrigeration and air conditioning industry.

For the measuring stations, Groupe TERA plans to contact design offices and engineering firms through representative companies (REP). For citizen sensors, the Group aims to set up direct sales through networks of stores. The Company plans to set up full-scale demonstrators in several Canadian and U.S. cities to promote these two products through pilots that will provide the entire population with long-term information on the quality of the city’s air and will help improve the quality of life of people suffering from respiratory diseases.
