2016 Desjardins Entrepreneur Awards: Francine Guay from M.I. Intégration Winner of the Woman of Influence Award
M.I. Intégration President Francine Guay has won the Woman of Influence Award in the 2016 Desjardins Entrepreneur Awards.
As leader of M.I. Intégration for more than 30 years, this businesswoman was described by the jury as an “inspirational role model for everyone around her.” “To ensure the future of the company, she has established a family council for succession planning within the company.”
M.I. Intégration is comprised of four entities located in Sherbrooke and Mexico, which are specialized in manufacturing moulds and in the thermoplastic injection of parts for the automobile industry: Moules Industriels, Plastech, SLP M.I. Integración, and SLP M.I. Moldes. The four plants employ close to 250 people.
Ms. Guay has been involved in many business endeavours in the Estrie region, including the Maison régionale de l’industrie, the ACCORD cluster for excellence in elastomers and transport equipment, and the Groupement des chefs d’entreprise business leaders network. She currently serves on Sherbrooke Innopole’s Board of Directors.
