SE2 and Its Alice POS Software Attract Two Dragons
Sherbrooke company SE2 Inc. made a deal with two dragons, Danièle Henkel and Serge Beauchemin, when it appeared on the TV show Dans l’œil du dragon (the French version of Dragon’s Den), which aired on Radio-Canada on June 1, 2015.
Through its Alice POS software, SE2 makes technology available to retail businesses operating as a franchise or corporate network. The software is capable of simultaneously managing inventories, transfers, in-store and online sales, as well as access to Web platforms like eBay and Amazon.

Alice POS is currently in use at more than 42 points of sale in five countries—Egypt, the United States, Canada, Columbia, and Panama.
The company’s senior managers, Charles Beaupré, François Côté, and Martin Tardif, now hope to accelerate the marketing of their cloud solution.
SE2’s three shareholders are presently in discussions with the two dragons, who offered $150 000 for 33% of the company. But, Mr. Beauchemin is already providing advice to the trio of businessmen, noted Mr. Beaupré.
SE2 has six employees and operates out of Espace-INC, Sherbrooke’s innovative business accelerator/incubator.
