SherWeb Nominated for Two Prestigious Prizes

SherWeb and its two founders, Matthew and Peter Cassar, are among the finalists for two prestigious awards: Microsoft World Hosting Partner of the Year and EY Entrepreneur of the Year.

World Partner of the Year

Microsoft PartnerThis Sherbrooke company was selected as a finalist in the Hosting category of the Microsoft World Partner of the Year Awards. SherWeb became the first ever Microsoft Partner to be named in this category for two consecutive years.

SherWeb distinguished itself among 2800 applications with its brand new Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) offer, even before its official launch scheduled for this fall. The Performance Cloud servers are the fastest on the market, according to benchmarking tests.

In 2013, SherWeb was granted the World Hosting Partner of the Year Award for its Software as a Service (SaaS) offer.

Entrepreneur of the Year

Brothers Matthew and Peter Cassar were nominated for the Québec EY Entrepreneur of the Year Award in the Information Technology category.

These awards celebrate the contribution and spirit of remarkable entrepreneurs. Finalists are chosen based on their vision, leadership, financial success, and social responsibility.

Québec award winners will be revealed during a banquet on October 23, 2014. The Québec Entrepreneur of the Year will then represent the province at the national banquet, on November 25, 2014.
