UdeS et Bishop’s stand out in national rankings
Université de Sherbrooke and Bishop’s University stand out at the national level in the latest National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE) presented in Maclean’s magazine.
To the question “If you could do it again, would you go back to the University where you are now studying?”, UdeS and Bishop rank first among the Universities who had favourable responses to this question. The two establishments are also well ranked when students are asked to evaluate their educational experience.
Université de Sherbrooke ranks 16th among the 49 institutions queried in the national survey. It was ranked 18th in the 2010 edition. Moreover, survey results published by the Canadian magazine show UdeS in 14th place for Canadian Universities offering doctoral studies and hosting a Faculty of Medicine.
As for Bishop, it ranks 8th among 19 Universities offering mainly undergraduate training.
Globe and Mail Survey
UdeS also ranks favourably in a student survey conducted by Globe and Mail for several variables, notably commitment toward sustainable development, student services and pedagogical services. UdeS ranked 3rd in the country among large and medium size Universities.
