The VAMUdeS (the Université de Sherbrooke’s Miniature Aerial Vehicle Organization) team was crowned champion of the 2018 Association for Unmanned Vehicle Systems International (AUVSI) Student Unmanned Aerial Systems (SUAS) international competition. This is the 3^rd world title the Faculty of Engineering’s student club has earned in as many years – a record.

VAMUdeS also took top honours in Best Mission Demonstration – one of the three components of the competition on handling drones – and the Cyber Security Award.
