Rapid Growth for ISE Metal in Mexico
ISE Metal’s expansion in Mexico has been on the fast track for two years now and the Sherbrooke business will maintain this pace thanks to US$1.25 million in financing recently obtained from Exportation Development Canada (EDC).
In particular, this funding will be used to acquire new equipment that will increase the facility’s productivity and better meet the growing demand.
“Our sales figures in Mexico have reached nearly $18 million only two years after opening a facility there. In addition to giving us access to a new clientele, our expansion in Mexico enabled us to relocate our equipment to increase our production capacity in Canada,” explained Robert Henderson, President of ISE Metal.
This custom metal parts manufacturer also received a loan from EDC in 2013 to open its subsidiary in Mexico.
ISE Metal has two plants in Sherbrooke and also owns Assemblages Lennox and LWB ISE. It employs 125 people in the region.
