Innovative Products Wanted for Testing by the Canadian Government
The federal government has launched a 4th call for tenders as part of the Build in Canada Innovation Program (BCIP). Through this program, the Canadian government wants to acquire innovative products and services for testing in its departments.
Innovators have until January 7, 2014, to submit their tenders.
The BCIP, formerly known as the Canadian Innovation Commercialization Program (CICP), offers innovators the possibility of:
- selling products and services to the Canadian government prior to their market launch;
- communicating with potential clients within federal-government departments and presenting their innovations;
- receiving comments about their innovations from users who have tested them in an operating environment before being brought to market; and
- bringing their innovations to market after they have proven themselves in practice.
