Evive Smoothie Among the 25 Startups Selected by Adopt Inc.
The Sherbrooke company Evive Smoothie and its cofounder Dominic Dubé are among the “adoptees” from the first group of applicants in Adopt Inc.’s drive to provide support to the next generation of Québec entrepreneurs.
Dominic Dubé is part of the select group of 25 young entrepreneurs chosen from among more than 400 applicants. For one year, the “adoptees” will benefit from coaching, a training program, and financial advantages.
Adopt Inc. was launched by Nicolas Duvernois, founder and CEO of PUR Vodka and Romeo’s Gin, Anne Marcotte, TV producer and entrepreneur, and Philippe de Gaspé Beaubien III, businessman and seasoned investor.
Evive Smoothie, which is in the incubation stage at Espace-inc, provides a simple, quick, and healthy way to incorporate smoothies into people’s daily routine, by offering frozen portions of fruits, vegetables, and superfood purées to be mixed with the individual’s liquid of choice.
Cofounded by Dominic Dubé and Claudia Poulin, Evive Smoothie has 80 points of sale in Québec. Their goal, according to Mr. Dubé, is to triple this number in the coming months, bringing the number up to 250. This young business currently employs five people.
