Emplois Compétences and Maison régionale de l’industrie to Invest $2M in Training and Recruitment

Between now and 2016, the Maison régionale de l’industrie (MRI / regional industrial-development agency) and Emplois Compétences (human-resources firm) will invest $2 million in workforce training and international recruitment to support businesses in Estrie and Montérégie.

Their investment will have three components:

  • Further developing and boosting workplace training for a variety of jobs
  • Expanding the scope of training in trades and professions experiencing labour shortages
  • Providing employers with international recruitment solutions
