Call for proposals on Nanoparticles

The Institut de recherche Robert-Sauvé en santé et en sécurité au travail (IRSST) and NanoQuébec are searching for proposals from Québec researchers for the purpose of financially supporting projects on nanoparticles.

An investment of $700,000 will be given to projects producing scientific knowledge leading to the advancement of the health and safety of workers exposed to nanoparticles. The funding is aimed at projects in the two following categories:

  • Exposure and risk: evaluation of exposure, evaluation of risk, study of behavior;
  • Control and protection: development of evaluation methods.

A maximum of $175,000 will be granted by project. The maximum duration of projects is 24 months, including the tabling of the research report.

Projects must be submitted before December, 17, 2012 at noon.
