Bishop’s University Ranks First in Canada for Entrepreneurship
Bishop’s University is very popular among future entrepreneurs: it ranks first in Canada for its entrepreneurial culture, according to a survey published by UniversityHub.
uHub asked more than 1000 students and recent graduates to rate their university on various factors, such as campus facilities, resources/services, academics, student community, extracurricular activities, location, etc.
In terms of entrepreneurship, Bishop’s University and its Dobson-Lagassé Entrepreneurship Centre obtained a score of 8.86 out of 10, making it a leader in Canada. It is the only Québec university in the top 10.
The Entrepreneurship Centre offers various services and resources to students, including speedcoaching events, breakfast conferences, mentoring, and projects with real businesses.
The Sherbrooke campus, one of the smallest in the country, excelled overall, ranking second in Canada out of approximately 30 universities rated.*
*The Université de Sherbrooke was not included in this ranking.
