American Biltrite recently invested $1.8 M in new equipment to increase the efficiency of the industrial products department in its Sherbrooke factory.

The investment will increase production capacity by 30% while reducing the manufacturing process to two actions instead of three – rubber extrusion and curing will now be done in one step. This will also improve delivery times.

The capital project will help consolidate American Biltrite’s 250 jobs in Sherbrooke – the company’s only Canadian factory.
