Sherbrooke Innopole and Inno-centre Join Forces to Propel Sherbrooke’s Innovative SMEs
PRESS RELEASE – Sherbrooke Innopole announces a partnership agreement with Inno-centre, Canada’s largest business accelerator, to boost the development and growth of innovative SMEs in Sherbrooke through 2nd-line specialized assistance.
The innovative SMEs that will benefit from Inno-centre’s assistance will get access to a large bank of hours of sectoral consulting services based on their needs, from marketing to human resources, funding, securing strategic partnership agreements, etc.
This assistance, provided in tandem with Sherbrooke Innopole, is offered to eligible businesses from the five key sectors – Advanced Manufacturing, Information Technologies, Cleantech, Life Sciences, and Micro-Nanotechnologies – thanks to the financial participation of the City of Sherbrooke’s economic development agency.
“Thanks to this partnership – our 2nd with Inno-centre – we ensure access to a complementary tool to support Sherbrooke’s innovative SMEs, enabling them to leverage Inno-centre’s expertise, combined with that of Sherbrooke Innopole’s team of professionals, to meet their business objectives and address growth challenges that have been compounded by COVID-19,” explained Sylvain Durocher, Executive Director of Sherbrooke Innopole.
