Autism: $200 000 to Technologies HOP-Child for new approaches to intervention

Technologies HOP-Child The Sherbrooke company Technologies HOP-Child has obtained financial assistance of $200 000 from the Government of Quebec to establish an innovative digital platform for children with an autism spectrum disorder with or without an intellectual disability.

At the crossroads of artificial intelligence, robotics, microelectronics, and IT, the R-D project estimated at $682 000 will use an avatar, a connected physical device, and a databank.

In time, this new intervention approach will help health professionals develop the autonomy of autistic children.
