Sherbrooke-based Plogg Média and the Bestar company from Lac-Mégantic have formed a new business partnership.

The agreement provides for Bestar’s acquisition of part of Plogg’ shareholdings. The ready-to-assemble furniture manufacturer will benefit from the expertise of Plogg’ team in the area of web strategies. From its perspective, Plogg is diversifying its areas of business, which until now have been focused on the real estate and dental sectors.

Philippe Marchesseault will remain President & CEO of Plogg, founded in 2008. Bestar’s Chief Executive Officer, Mario Aubé, will sit on Plogg’s Board of Directors.
