Artopex has officially opened its new facilities on Portland Boulevard in Sherbrooke. The office-furniture manufacturer has consolidated the entire armchair-production facilities of its Tec Innovation unit, previously located on Courcelette Street, and its Laval plant at this new site.

Artopex took the opportunity to launch three new armchair lines.

The company, which also has a plant in Granby, recently landed some major contracts for its armchairs with the CHUM Research Centre, the new administrative centre of the Desjardins Group, and the University of San Diego, to name just a few.

This expansion has allowed Artopex to double its production capacity, acquire new equipment, and nearly double its number of employees, which now totals 70.
