Meet Tomorrow’s Leaders of the Green Economy at 2nd Cleantech Rendez-vous!
Some 10 innovative Sherbrooke companies will be attending the 2nd Rendez-vous des technologies propres (RVTECH – Cleantech Rendez-vous) on May 28, 2013, in Sherbrooke, the only event of its kind in Quebec bringing together major investors and clients in the province.
The summit is an opportunity for Sherbrooke’s leading lights in the energy, energy-efficiency, waste-storage, waste, and water-and-soil-conservation sectors to make flash presentations to major players in the green economy as well as to business leaders in search of green solutions. At 2:30 p.m., the format will shift to one-on-one meetings between participants and key businesses related to their energy- or environment-related projects.
The honorary chair of RVTECH 2013 is Mihai Rasidescu, president of Tecplus Capital and former chair and CEO of Centre de technologies avancées BRP-Université de Sherbrooke (BRP / Université de Sherbrooke’s centre for advanced technologies).
The one-day summit, organized by Sherbrooke Innopole, is a prime opportunity for businesses: they will be able not only to explore technologies for improving their energy and environmental footprint but to launch business partnerships with passionate and resourceful entrepreneurs who can help them green their businesses.
And investors will meet tomorrow’s leaders of the green economy.
Selection Process
The selection process for the 8 to 12 Sherbrooke businesses to participate in Rendez-vous des technologies propres 2013 is currently underway. The names of the successful candidates will be made public in April 2013.
