Mondo-In has recently acquired Sherbrooke’s Revolution Linux, which develops open-source software. Montréal-based Mondo-In is a software developer.

According to Mondo-In CEO Ronald Brisebois and Revolution Linux president Benoit des Ligneris, both companies will benefit from their complementary expertise.

“Revolution Linux can now offer additional high-value-added services, especially web portal design, the development of mobile apps and virtual journals, and expertise in document and knowledge management,” pointed out des Ligneris.

As part of the acquisition, des Ligneris will also become vice president of open-source software at Mondo-In. He further explained that Revolution Linux will retain its name and its headquarters in Sherbrooke as well as continue to provide customer service.

All 25 jobs in the Sherbrooke office will be maintained. By integrating the knowledge and skills of these technical specialists, Mondo-In will have a multidisciplinary team spread across 7 international offices.
