Groupe Domax, which manufactures intelligent car washes, is currently constructing its first car wash centre. The car wash will be located near a service station in Magog on Principale Ouest Street.

Developed by Groupe Domax, this first “Car Wash in a Box” uses a unique and innovative concept to reuse almost all the water from the floor as well as rainwater. The eco-friendly car wash also has a system of automatic controls to conserve heat and lighting during less busy periods. Production of this new product line is done in Sherbrooke.

Groupe Domax plans to install two more intelligent car washes in the Estrie region in 2013. Maxime Surprenant, President of Groupe Domax, mentions that shopping malls and highway pull-off areas present opportunities.

This first construction is a break-in period for the small business. In 2014, Groupe Domax plans to launch a « revolutionary » new product developed by the Company’s technology Director, David Demers. The new technology will be retrofitted to the existing carwashes.  With this new technology, the two businessmen hope to tackle the United States’ market as soon as 2014.
