Université de Sherbrooke Joins the Circuit électrique
Université de Sherbrooke becomes the first member of the Circuit électrique in the Estrie Region. The institution will add six new public charging stations for electric vehicles in Sherbrooke, Longueuil and Bromont.
These charging stations will serve as incentive for drivers to go green, and they will also serve to recharge Université de Sherbrooke electric vehicles.
Three stations will be installed in Sherbrooke, on the main campus, the health sciences campus and the Parc Innovation; two in Bromont, at the MiQro Innovation Collaborative Center (C2MI) and in the City; and one on the Longueuil campus.
“This first foray in the Estrie Region will allow us to increase our service offer and expand our services to the third point of the triangle Montréal-Québec-Sherbrooke, an important geographical and economical area in Québec,” has indicated Pierre-Luc Desgagnés, CEO , Strategic Planning at Hydro-Québec, in the name of the Circuit électrique founding partners, St-Hubert Rotisseries, Rona, Métro, and Agence métropolitaine de transport.
