Student Entrepreneurship: Enactus Team Formed at the Université de Sherbrooke
The entrepreneurial spirit is gaining momentum at the Université de Sherbrooke. On the heels of the announcement of a new concentration in Entrepreneurship starting in the fall of 2015, a group of students has officially launched an Enactus team.
This is the first Enactus team at a French-language university in Canada.

Enactus is an international network of students and leaders from the academic and economic world who are eager to use entrepreneurship to improve society. In Canada, Enactus has teams on more than 60 university campuses.
The Université de Sherbrooke’s Enactus team was created in January 2015 in cooperation with the Business Administration faculty; it already has eight members. Professor Jean-François Lalonde serves as the team’s academic advisor.
The Enactus – UdeS team is already planning to participate in its first regional competition, to be held in Mississauga on March 8 and 9, 2015. There, the team will unveil its first project.
