Pierre Bélanger at the annual IASP International Board meeting

Pierre Bélanger, Sherbrooke Innopole Director General, President of the North American Division and Board Member of theInternational Association of Science Parks, took part in the annual IASP International Board meeting regrouping Board Members of some of the world’s most important Science Parks. This year, the meeting was held at the IASP head office in Malaga, Spain, in early February.

According to Málaga Hoy newspaper, subjects discussed include the future of Science Parks members of IASP, the growth of Parks in developing countries and the potential of offering more services to Science Parks and the companies they host.

 

About IASP

IASP is a worldwide network of 375 Science and Technology Parks in 70 countries housing 200,000 companies. The 28th IASP World Conference will take place in Copenhagen from June 19th to 22 nd, 2011.

IASP Board Members from around the world took part in this annual meeting, representing six distinct regions: Africa, Asia Pacific, Europe, Latin America, North America and West Asia.
